Services Overview
Launched in 2006, the Code for Sustainable Homes is a method for assessing and certifying the sustainable design and construction of new homes. Code for Sustainable Homes helps reduce UK carbon emissions and create more sustainable homes.
Although the Code for Sustainable Homes is now voluntary, it is still a key assessor of a dwelling’s sustainability. The code assesses numerous areas including energy and CO2 emissions, surface run-off, materials, water, pollution and health and wellbeing.
Whitecode Consulting has vast experience in carrying out Code for Sustainable Homes assessments, from small scale developments consisting of seven bungalows to large scale high-rise developments consisting of 400+ apartments. We have carried out assessments located in Central London and outside of London. We have an in-depth understanding of the performance targets that need to be met.
