At Whitecode Consulting, we are proud to offer apprenticeships as a structured route to becoming a Building Services Engineer

As a company that takes pride in promoting engineering as a career pathway for young people and developing talent, Whitecode is now putting its apprentices through the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers’ (CIBSE) Training & Development scheme.

Whitecode is a keen supporter of local secondary schools and has strong ties with Wilmington Grammar School, where in the past we have sponsored construction courses and still provide specialist help to the school learning programme. We provide a pathway from A-levels into our graduate programme and have trained over 60 engineers throughout our 30 years of business.

We have exciting opportunities available for enthusiastic trainee building services engineers who will form an integral part of our internal engineering design team and make a direct impact on the engineering industry through their work.

Requirements

As a successful apprentice, you will be involved in diverse engineering projects across the spectrum of residential and commercial buildings. Are you ready to be part of a company that specialises in the growth of young engineers?

Whitecode seeks candidates that display enthusiasm, a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and grow within the company.

Successful candidates will:

  • Have three A levels at Grades A*-C including Mathematics and Physical Science (either Physics or Chemistry) or will have completed a Level 3 or a BTEC National Diploma in a relevant field
  • Have strong management skills and the ability to meet project deadlines effectively
  • Convey a strong interest in building services engineering
  • Be a collaborative team player
  • Display the drive to improve and learn new skills
  • Demonstrate genuine passion and take pride in their work
